17 avril I Will Remember YouI will remember you Will you remember me? Don't let your life pass you by Weep not for the memories
Remember the good times that we had? I let them slip away from us when things got bad How clearly I first saw you smilin' in the sun Wanna feel your warmth upon me, I wanna be the one
I will remember you Will you remember me? Don't let your life pass you by Weep not for the memories
I'm so tired but I can't sleep Standin' on the edge of something much too deep It's funny how we feel so much but we cannot say a word We are screaming inside, but we can't be heard
But I will remember you Will you remember me? Don't let your life pass you by Weep not for the memories
I'm so afraid to love you, but more afraid to loose Clinging to a past that doesn't let me choose Once there was a darkness, deep and endless night You gave me everything you had, oh you gave me light
And I will remember you Will you remember me? Don't let your life pass you by Weep not for the memories
And I will remember you Will you remember me? Don't let your life pass you by Weep not for the memories Weep not for the memories 9 avril Madame Tussauds' !!!Chi Lin Nunnery, Lotus Pond Garden, Peak Tram, The Peak and Madame Tussauds' Hong Kong.

8 avril Out of New Garden and into Sun KongOut with the old, in with the new… New Garden Hostel and Sun Kong Hostel.
For Your InformationWhatever happens in Hong Kong, stays in Hong Kong. Four more nights...Here, I am, all alone. My girl is working overtime, and Ayu is still at the Ayumi concert- two hours after it has officially ended. He was hoping to catch a glimpse of his idol leaving the Coliseum. Wish him luck- I seriously lack that type of patience waiting for someone who does not know I exist. Anyway, I accompanied Ayu all the way to the Coliseum and walked back to our hostel alone, via the Avenue of Stars. It was nostalgic, walking alone in a foreign country. Thoughts flood my mind- when will I be back in this place again? Who will be with me then? Whose hand will I be holding then? I wonder if I will visit Hong Kong again- I am not saying it’s not a place worth visiting again; it’s just that, the world is so huge, and I have so little time to visit the same place twice. I will have fond memories of this place, that I have no doubt. We are checking out tomorrow, and moving into our new hostel in Causeway Bay in the morning. Again, I will miss this room- not the best of rooms, but I will have memories, just like when I was in Brunei. I just finished packing, and I bought so much stuff, I have not no place left in my seventy-five litre bag for my laptop- amazing, isn’t it? Anyway, it is 12.40am on Sunday morning, and Ayu just came back. And no, he didn’t catch a glimpse of his Japanese lady. Better luck next time, dude, whenever the next time will be. Well, it was the first time I have been to a concert venue and never went to watch the concert. But I tell you, Ayumi has really beautiful girls as fans. The eye candies were everywhere- Hong Kong, Japanese, Korean, Ayumi fans of the world united at the Coliseum. It was an unforgettable experience, though I cannot remember a single pretty face I have just seen there. Okay, I got to go. Ayu needs the laptop to transfer his photographs taken illegally from the concert (using MY digital camera). Next stop, Causeway Bay!

One Night In MongkokSomehow, I feel this is going to be a long blog. Okay, here I am, in chilly Mongkok, with Ayu. This is our fifth night here, and I am currently at a posh internet café in Tsim Sha Tsui blogging while Ayu is reading the South China Morning Post in front of me. Incredibly, this café does not have free wireless access. We have to pay by card, and we both left our card at the hostel. So, I am blogging now, wondering when I will have the chance to put it up. For your information, it is currently 9.35pm, 4th April. Okay, let’s wind back to a couple of days before I embarked on this Operation Ayu with Ayu. My flight was on 31st March afternoon, and I spent the night before with Wina. I can really feel she loves me a lot, maybe as much as SY. But, I feel she is the type that will learn to live without me. She has to anyway, since she is leaving for good for Bali next month. Time flies, really. Our romance has to come to an end pretty soon. I can learn to let go, but it will take time, and help (from my friends, of course). I seriously have doubts we will be able to maintain our long-distance relationship successfully. I mean I don’t need another girl to fill up the void she will be leaving in my heart. I have been living my life alone fine for three years, until she came along and messed it up. Love is a crazy thing. I knew from the very start that our relationship would not come to a happy end. Yet, I chose to love her. Now, it has to come to this. Am I stupid or what? But, deep down, I still believe the age-old saying- it’s better to have love and lost than not to have love at all. Give love a chance- we all live to love, no? Anyway, she has been in tears the last couple of days without me, especially so on Monday, since her day off has been every Monday, and for the past 8 Mondays, she has been spending it with me. I feel sad, but at least I have Ayu with me to brighten up my day. I mean, we are like the most impossible best friends ever- he’s a miser and I’m a spendthrift. His idea of love is to not waste his time on relationships that will have no happy ending. For me, please refer to paragraph two. He knocked his head when he was young, and he has been a Liverpool fan since. Me, I have brains- that’s why I am a Manchester United fan. I am more into details of stuff (like the planning of this trip), and he prefers to see others do all the donkey work. Yet, above all these, we managed to make this trip together. I can imagine my kids beating his kids up now, as he is sitting in front of me pondering what I am typing. Anyway, JetStar was my first budget airline trip, and it was boring. There is no food, drink or any form of entertainment. I tried to sleep (without much success). Ayu was busy chatting a lady in green up. I was thinking about her all the time. We had dinner at the airport, and spent the night sleeping there. The next morning (April’s Fool Day, if you are lost), we went to the Giant Buddha. We had an amazing race up the flight of stairs, and against all odds, Ayu beat me to the finish line by a mere ten seconds. We proceeded to our fantastically-named hostel (New Garden Hostel) next via the MTR. It was as expected, as it was a backpacker’s inn. However, Ayu was scared of the dark alleys and stuff. He is a ball-less piece of shit, I found out later. He is even scared of the window in our toilet. Anyway, 2nd April was spent at Disneyland, and it rained. It was just our rotten luck. We managed to take a few rides, and countless photographs (with all the Disney characters) before it started pouring. After the rain, the temperature dropped to 20’C. And I only had one sweater- thanks to a great piece of advice from my friends back in Singapore. The next morning, we awoke to news on the TV that after persistent rain last night, the expected daytime temperature was 16’C! Thanks again! Ayu had no problem with the cold (since he is pretty thick-skinned anyway), but I was freezing my balls off on the streets. I bought a Kappa sweater and a jacket, and both were put to very good use. Like all other places, some things here are cheap, some things not. Temple Street is a good place to bargain, but Mongkok has countless other night markets too. We spent tons of time walking these past few days (we walked the equivalent of five MRT stations). I didn’t really buy much stuff for myself, neither did Ayu. We managed to visit the Symphony of Lights last night, and it was seriously a waste of our precious time. It was such a disappointment. Anyway, Ayu managed to chat up a salesgirl at Levi’s while I was checking the jeans out (player!). One thing- people here don’t really like to converse in English. I kind of get the feeling that they think I am aloof whenever I speak to them in English. Ayu’s Cantonese was barely understandable, and for me, I didn’t even bother to try. I can understand their Cantonese, but their English is terrible. The reason I don’t want to speak Chinese was I didn’t want them to think I was from China (and their Chinese isn’t much better than their English anyway). The girls here are pretty, especially when they wear a skirt, knee-high boots and a sweater. But, I have no interest. I am not here for love. I will be leaving soon (Ayu is getting tired of ogling at all the girls that walked into the café), and I hope to put this up as soon as possible. And the pictures, of course. Meantime, I will try to survive the cold. Wish me luck.
